RASHERS

Rashers are one of my husband's favorite foods since we've come to Ireland. Rashers are Ireland's bacon. I don't think they taste anything like bacon. They don't cook up crisp like bacon. Think more of ham - thin, salty ham. This first picture is rashers in the package.



The first week we arrived in Ireland they had a recall on rashers. This is what the grocery store shelves looked like.
