CELTIC WOMAN

At our Sacrament Meeting today, we had the sister of our bishop - who is one of the Celtic Women - sing 3 songs. The bishop spoke on the Holy Ghost and had asked his sister to sing these three songs to help with the spirit of the meeting. She has a beautiful voice - the voice of an angel. She sang 2 songs I wasn't familiar with. The bishop said one of them was an old Seminary song and one was a Young Woman song. Then I think they skipped at least one or more songs because of time, and her last song was "I Need Thee Every Hour". Fantastic. I'm not kidding. Absolutely beautiful. I could have skipped the rest of the meetings and just had her sing straight from the Hymnbook acapella. I ran into her in the hall after church and thanked her for sharing her talent and told her I thought she sounded like an angel. Not only does she have a beautiful voice, but she is a very nice person also. Acts like she has all the time in the world to just stand there and talk to you and find out who you are. A rare combination. She is one of the newer ones, and her name is Alex Sharpe. She said they just finished a US tour.
