AN IRISH THANKSGIVING

We had 11 people over for an "Irish Thanksgiving" Saturday. We had a very "cultural" dinner. Here's what we had in abundance: Turkey, Ham, Cornbread Dressing, Turkey Gravy, Cranberry Sauce, Cranberry Salad, Corn Casserole, Sweet Potato Casserole, Whole Wheat Rolls, Cornbread, Mixed Irish Veggies (Broccoli, Cauliflower, Carrots, Zuchinni, Mushrooms, Mini Potatoes- the traditional Irish vegetables) with Hollandaise Sauce, Spring Rolls, Teriyaki Chicken Wings, Teriyaki Shrimp, Wontons, Seafood Salad on Rice, Black and Green Olives, Pumpkin Pie with real whipped cream, Caramel Cheesecake, Pecan Pie, Dutch Apple Pie. We had a great time with our US friends and even the teenagers were't too terribly bored since they played Wii after dinner and then watched the Rugby game. We moved our kitchen table into the living room to put with the dining room table and borrowed a 6' table from one of the families, so we were all able to sit together for dinner. I was the last to sit down and was delighted to see that the only seat left was at the "teenager table". Unfortunately 2 of the 5 teenagers were at another table, so I didn't ask them this question: What do you like the best about living in Ireland?
Answers: The Scenery, The People, and Rugby.
