NUNS

When I went to the grocery store today, there were some nuns sitting by the escalators with donation buckets.  I gave her a 2 euro coin.  Being in a mostly Catholic country, I see lots of nuns here.  I just love nuns.  I think partly because my 2 best friend growing up were Catholic.  I used to memorize their Hail Mary's with them.  :0)  One of the twins wanted to be a nun growing up.  When you're a nun, you get to choose a new name.  She wanted her name to be Bernadette.  I also loved the movie, "Song of Bernadette".  It's black and white but is a great movie.  I know the Catholic church has had lots of trouble with their priests, so I get a little leary of them, but I sure hope that a lot of the good nuns end up in heaven.  To totally devote your life to service surely deserves something of a reward.  If you've never read the biography of Mother Teresa's life, you should.  She was a wonderful, insightful, caring, and totally unselfish woman.
