This is another thing that we did on our first day in Paris. After we went to the Eiffel Tower, we went across the street and down to the Seine River and took a tour boat cruise. They have lots of different kinds of cruises. You can even take a lunch cruise or a dinner cruise, where they have the boat set up like a restaurant and you sit at tables and eat. We didn't take a lot of pictures while we were on the boat, mainly because we knew we would be getting closer to the things we would be seeing later on when we took the bus tours. Our tour guide on the boat spoke in French first, then in English, then in Spanish, for everything he said. Too bad he didn't speak Chinese, as there was a whole tour bus of Chinese people on this boat ride. It was fun and we even bought their Paris dvd, which is really good, although if any of my kids borrow it to watch it, they'll have to remember to turn it off at the end when they start showing the Moulin Rouge. Yikes. Talk about R-rated! Sure don't want the grandkids to be seeing that!
