FISHING IN IRELAND

My husband is an avid fly fisherman. Ever since we arrived in Ireland he has been wanting to go fly fishing, so this summer he finally has been able to go. He found out that you can fish in the canals for free. Not a great selection of fish in there, but there are fish. If you want to go fishing at a private pond, it is 20 Euro for a half a day or 30 Euro for a whole day everytime you go. He finally figured out that for 50 Euro he can fish all year down on the Liffy River not far from us. He lost his net that I had brought him from the States, but he found a fishing store here and bought another one. He's still trying to figure out what flies work the best, but he's having a great time.

Even the Leprecauns go fishing! :0)
