WRC - BUILTH WELLS SERVICE CENTER

The actual first day of racing (Friday) we decided to sleep in (since we had to get up at 3:45 the day before to catch our plane) and go out to the first service stop at Builth Wells. We had calculated to arrive there early, but even as we were walking in (and we were among the first to arrive) the cars were already coming in. We got excellent spots right up next to the barrier. My husband saw the cars coming in so I told him to go on ahead (since I couldn't walk fast) and he was at one spot and I at another. Which worked out quite well, since the first few cars in parked by him. Then when the other cars coming in started parking in front of me, he just came over and stood by me. I've tried to identify those I know. Those not noted, I'm not sure who they are. Here are the pictures:

Mikko Hirvonen - Ford Abu Dhabi Team

Dani Sordo - Citroen Team

Sebastien Loeb's car - Citroen Team

Stobart Ford Team

Notice the dirt (dried mud) that is all over this car. Most cars looked like this since it rained so much. You couldn't even tell what color the cars were nor who they were since they were so dirty. This is Matthew Wilson's Stobart Ford Team Car.

These guys were exactly in front of me. This is a Stobart Ford Team. They had something wrong with their engine and as soon as their car stopped, they jumped out and opened the hood and started fixing whatever was wrong with it. This is Henning Solberg and Cato Menkerud, another Stobart Ford Team Car.
