Not long ago I went to the Post Office to get some Irish stamps so I could mail the visiting teaching message to two ladies on my route. After I asked the postmaster for some Irish stamps he said, "Do you need some international stamps?" I felt like saying, "Yes, I'm American, but I do know people here in Ireland." I thought it was funny. Maybe he either thought I had asked for the wrong stamps and meant international stamps, or just couldn't figure out what an American would be doing mailing stuff to people in Ireland. :0)
